Who we are and what this notice covers
CaribeEats is operated by Carb Solutions, based at Brown Hill, Nevis, West Indies. Its parent company is Carb Solutions Inc., at 155th AVE NE, Redmond, WA, 98052. In this notice, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Carb Solutions.
This notice explains how personal information is handled when you use the CaribeEats consumer website, place an order or booking through it, create an account, or contact us. Separate notices may apply to business partner services, driver services, mobile apps, or external websites. We will identify any additional notice that applies to a particular service.
Contact info@CaribeEats.com with questions about this notice or requests concerning your personal information.
Information you provide
The information collected depends on the service you use. It can include:
- Account and contact details: your name, email address, telephone number, sign-in details, and profile information.
- Orders and deliveries: the items or services requested, delivery or pickup details, addresses, location information, instructions, and shopping-list photos or other content you submit.
- Payments and service references: payment details submitted through checkout, transaction and payment status, and account or mobile numbers needed for bill payments and top-ups.
- Bookings and tickets: attendee and contact details, event selections, booking dates and times, and additional information requested for a particular event.
- Support communications: messages, attachments, and other information you send through contact forms or support chat.
Guest purchases can still involve collecting contact, order, payment, or booking information even when you do not create an account. If you provide someone else’s details, ensure you have permission to use them for that order or booking.
Information collected through the website
The website and its service providers can collect information about your browser, device, IP address, pages visited, interactions, and technical errors. Cookies and browser storage also support features such as signing in, remembering a cart, saving preferences, and accessing guest tickets.
If you choose a feature that uses your device’s location, your browser may ask for permission. You can decline or change that permission through your browser or device settings and enter location details manually where that option is available.
When you choose a third-party sign-in option, such as Google or Apple, the sign-in provider supplies the information permitted by that sign-in process. Businesses and service providers may also supply order, delivery, booking, or payment-status information.
How information is used
We use information to operate accounts, process orders and bookings, arrange fulfilment, handle payments, deliver tickets, provide order updates, and answer support requests.
Information is also used to investigate problems and suspected misuse, understand how the website is used, diagnose technical failures, and improve the service. Advertising tools can measure campaign performance and support advertising audiences.
Who receives information
Depending on your transaction, relevant information is provided to the business, driver, delivery provider, event organiser, bill-payment provider, or mobile top-up provider involved in fulfilling it. This can include your contact details, service location, order instructions, and the information needed for the purchase or booking.
Payment providers and financial institutions process information needed to authorise or complete payments and address payment problems. Website hosting, support, monitoring, analytics, and advertising providers also process information in connection with their services.
The website currently integrates Google advertising tools, Meta Pixel, Tawk.to support chat, New Relic monitoring, and Sentry error reporting. The information processed depends on the provider and the feature used. Some providers may also process information under their own privacy notices.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies and similar browser-storage technologies support website features and can also be used for analytics, performance monitoring, and advertising.
Closing the cookie notice does not disable analytics or advertising tools. Browser settings can block or remove some cookies and stored information. Doing so may sign you out, empty a cart, or prevent access to information stored for a guest session. These settings may not stop every form of data collection by an embedded service.
You can manage location permissions through your browser or device. For help with other privacy choices, contact info@CaribeEats.com.
Retention and account deletion
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice, including completing transactions, handling support requests and disputes, preventing misuse, and meeting applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is held.
You can submit an account-deletion request using the website’s account-deletion feature or contact info@CaribeEats.com. Deleting an account does not necessarily mean every transaction record can be deleted immediately.
Requests and security
Contact info@CaribeEats.com to ask about information associated with you, request correction, or request deletion. The rights available and any exceptions depend on applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information.
Protect your sign-in details and avoid sending passwords or full payment-card information in support messages. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children and updates
Customer accounts and purchases are intended for adults aged 18 or older. An adult may buy tickets for a child where the event permits it and may provide the attendee information needed for that booking. Contact info@CaribeEats.com if you believe a child has created an account or provided personal information directly.
When this notice changes, we will publish the updated version and revise its effective date. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
